Job Title: Senior Analyst, Operations Support and Internal Audit

 

Position Overview:

As part of the Revenue Management team, the Senior Analyst, Operations Support and Internal Audit has responsibility for evaluating Operations' framework of internal controls to prevent losses resulting from human error, neglect, technological breakdowns and regulatory noncompliance.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOther duties may be assigned. Directly or through others, the incumbent will:

• Independently perform a comprehensive review of key processes in an assigned department or functional area for control gaps to ensure the adequacy and reliability of the internal control framework.
• Establish and maintain methodologies of the review process to ensure on-going integration with the control framework
• Evaluation will include compliance with regulator principles
• Identify gaps / issues and the dimension of risk
• Verbally communicate findings to management and draft comprehensive and complete report of functional area reviewed
• Responsible for the design and documentation of new controls

Job Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in the development and implementation of operational controls
• Bachelor's degree in business or accounting
• Possesses knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, Sarbanes Oxley requirements and accounting theory, and can apply these accurately to business transactions.
• Ability to effectively communicate on the subject of controls and process improvement with management
• Highly self motivated and works independently without day to day direct supervision
• Excel, Word and PowerPoint application skills
• Effective communication skills (listening and speaking)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• CIA preferred but not required
