The job is located in Danbury, CT with one of our Fortune 500 direct client. They are looking for a Infrastructure Project Manager and the following is a more detailed description of the job.

Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for delivery of a large Project to roll-out Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix Xenapp for a US customer

 

Responsibilities include:

·         To establish relationships across the customer organization, business areas and suppliers in order to deliver successful project

·         To deliver IT Infrastructure project end to end through the defined project lifecycle to agreed time, quality and cost.

·         To ensure that integrity of the project is maintained, focusing on internal consistency and compliance to standards, processes and strategies.

·         Manage team of consultants & architects to deliver the projects.

 

Experience (Essential)

·         10+ years of IT Experience

·         6+ Years of Project Management experience

·         Experience in deploying Citrix Xen Desktop, Citrix Xenapp, VMware VDI projects

·         IT Infrastructure domain knowledge is a must

·         Strong commercial orientation

·         Experience in managing complex IT infrastructure projects within schedule, budget and Efforts

·         Proficient in Project Management Tools & Processes

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills

·         Excellent presentation skills

·         Excellent negotiation skill

·         Proven experience in stakeholder management & conflict resolution

·         Strong process orientation

·         Strong people management and highly customer centric.

 

Experience (Preferred)

·         Experience of working in International business environment

·         PMP/PRINCE 2 certification
